The Overfield Early Childhood Program (Overfield) in Troy, Ohio announces the opening of its Director position.  The Director, who reports to a board of trustees, is the professional and educational leader of the program.  In this role the director has duties and responsibilities in the following areas: overseeing all aspects of daily operation of the school, working closely with the founder and Board of Trustees to plan for the future while implementing current policies, ensuring that all teaching and experiences for children are consistent with the mission and ensuring consistent and effective communication with the founder, trustees, teachers and parents.  Importantly, the director manages, and reports on, the school’s operating budget. 

The successful candidate will begin July 1, 2009. The current Director is departing after 8 years to pursue the doctorate level in education and will offer transitional support.
